Hair/humidity?
I have rather thick and wavy hair. I wash it with Garnier's "Ultra Doux" shampoo (based on henna, for brown hair and blackberry extracts) and its matching conditioner. It's heavenly and it has worked miracles on my hair. So that was one problem solved.
But my problem lately is that where I live (the Netherlands), it's extremely humid and it's a killer for my hair.
I straighten my hair lately (and I use Nivea's Straight & Easy gel after showering) with the ends of my hair pointed inwards towards my neck but as soon as I am outside for around 10 minutes (I have to, to get to uni, my bus doesn't get that far, so I gotta walk), the ends of my hair go back outward and the bottom of my hair gets a bit wavy again. It looks out of control while it looked nice before I ever went outside.
I tried hairspray, gel, styling crème, nothing worked. Am I the only one with this humidity problem or something? It's getting frustrating! Any advice to work with this?
I have thick hair and I recently went from being a redhead to a blonde. I live in Florida (U.S) and as soon as you step outside the humidity gets you... yuck... It's frustrating cause I can do my hair and it looks like I had it done in a salon until I walk outside then it looks like I put my finger in an electrical socket. anyhoo...I use Biosilk after I have blow-dried and used a flat iron to my hair. It smooths everything out. Or my friend who has crazy hair (one side is curly the other wavy) uses a Kerastase serum in hers which I have looked into getting too. They have a ton to choose from so you have to go to their site and pick what type of hair you have and go from there and then I'm sure you could find it cheaper on the internet. hope this helps...good luck
