I want to design a high intensity workout regimen. What are the basic principles of high intensity training?
I've been doing high volume weight training for the past 8 months and I've started to adapt to it too much so now I want to try something with more intensity. High intensity as in: 1-5 rep, shorter workouts.
My questions:
-What's a good number of sets per exercise?
-How many exercises per body part?
-How many body parts should I work out per session?
-How long should the rests be?
Any other additional in regards to HIT would be helpful.
1 warm up set and 3 sets , 3 or 4 exercises per part of the body
2 parts of the body a recommend deltoids and arms,chest and back an train legs separatly a little bit of abs evrey 48 hours
rest a day and rest more than a minute for the next set so you can complete it
